New Day for Small Businesses (NDSB) presents an opportunity for government agencies and prime contractors - large and small - to build relationships and forge partnerships with top-performing small businesses in the southeast region.
Small businesses can face seemingly insurmountable challenges in the federal acquisition space. Business owners don't always know how to pursue contracting opportunities.
This year, Contracts and Grants is partnering with Lyft, Inc. the tech behemoth best known for its revolutionary rideshare service that forever changed the private passenger transportation industry.
Lyft has contracted with Linda Chatmon, founder of Contracts and Grants, LLC, to develop and manage Lyft’s Supply Chain Equity program as the company expands into government contracting.
By law, prime contractors must have in place subcontracting plans which outline their processes for fulfilling small business participation goals. These types of set-aside programs currently represent a $200 billion market for small businesses.
This year NDSB program will once again help prime contractors like Lyft, IBM, and the CDC find Atlanta area businesses that can help fulfill small business participation program requirements.
